A little preparation helps your first visit run smoothly and gives us the full picture of your oral health from day one. When you come in, it helps to bring:

Your health card and any dental insurance details
A list of medications you take and any relevant medical history
The name of your previous dentist, if you would like us to request past records or X-rays

We recommend arriving about ten minutes early so there is time to complete your new-patient forms, or you can fill them in ahead of time if we send them to you. If anything has changed with your health since booking, just let us know when you arrive so we can keep your records up to date.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Bring your health card, any dental insurance details, a list of medications and relevant medical history, and the name of your previous dentist if you would like us to request past records. Any questions you have are welcome too.

Will I need X-rays at my first visit?

In many cases we take digital X-rays or a scan so we can see between and below the teeth, which the naked eye cannot. If you have recent X-rays from another dentist, we can often request them so they do not need to be repeated.

I feel anxious about seeing the dentist. Can you help?
